Capillary blood sampling method-clinical laboratory basis
1. Blood collection site
It is recommended to use the inner tip of the left middle finger or ring finger. Infants and young children can use the inner and outer edges of the thumb or the sole of the foot if the finger is too small. Patients with severe burns can choose to collect blood from intact skin.
2. Blood collection equipment
Triangular needle or special “blood sampling needle”, micro-quantitative pipette, specimen container, etc.
3. Blood collection steps
First, massage the blood sampling site with your fingers to make the middle finger or ring fingertip naturally congested. After collecting and sorting out the medical education network, use 75% alcohol cotton ball to disinfect the skin. Needle, pierce 2 mm~3 mm quickly from the ventral side of the fingertip, immediately withdraw the needle to allow the blood to flow out naturally, wipe off the first drop of blood with a sterile cotton ball, and collect blood as needed. After the blood is collected, use a sterile dry cotton ball Press the wound for a while.
4. Matters needing attention
The selected blood collection site should not have frostbite, cyanosis, edema, inflammation, etc.; after the skin is disinfected, the ethanol must be evaporated and dried before the blood is collected, otherwise the blood will spread everywhere without dripping; to avoid cross-infection, the blood collection needle should be used before use It should be autoclaved, and the one-person-one-needle system should be strictly implemented; if the blood is not easy to flow out after the puncture, a little pressure can be applied to the distal end of the wound, or the puncture can be repeated. Do not squeeze hard to avoid mixing a large amount of tissue fluid, which will affect the test results and make the blood easier to coagulate; when performing multiple tests, the order of the specimens is platelet count, red blood cell count, hemoglobin measurement, white blood cell count, etc.; bleeding time determination requires In addition, puncture a site, and the coagulation time shall be determined separately.
